$4-a-Gallon Gas?

Remember this?
Peter Maer of CBS News Radio asked: "What’s your advice to the average American who is hurting now, facing the prospect of $4-a-gallon gasoline, a lot of people facing ... "
"Wait, what did you just say?" the president interrupted. "You’re predicting $4-a-gallon gasoline?"
Maer responded: "A number of analysts are predicting $4-a-gallon gasoline."
Bush’s rejoinder: "Oh, yeah? That’s interesting. I hadn’t heard that."
They don't tell him anything important, or perhaps no one in the adminstration could have foreseen $4 a gallon gas. After all, this exchange was a whole three months ago, when gas was merely $3.60 or so a gallon.

We all knew this was going on...
except for the brainwashed Reporklicans.
It's pretty telling when your own press secretary Scott McClellan comes out and says you and all your buddies lie. Do a search for yourself and see what you find.
Bush makes me sick!!!!!! He has screwed this country for money and power.

Interesting article about the asshole in chief
http://www.alternet.org/audits/76699/
Bush is full of shit and always has been. I give those that were distorted by his bs a pass in 2000, but anyone that voted for him in 2004 is a moron and doesn't get a vote this year.

They hate McCain

Now granted, given recent events, trusting another Republican on science policy is probably dumber than loaning your Gold Card to a crack head. But McCain has indicated he will reverse Bush’s asinine decree against federal funding of Embryonic Stem Cell Lines. Despite a little political hedging here and there, the Arizona Senator also seems to accept evolutionary biology and the scientifically determined age of the earth and universe. Hallelujah!
And on climate change, in comparison to the present administration (A low bar to be sure), McSurge is at least tuning in on the same wavelength as his presumptive rivals. But ...
Chris Mooney -- The fact that the presidential field has apparently narrowed to these three contenders might seem grounds for planetary rejoicing. However, it's important to note that despite their broad similarities, when it comes to global warming McCain and the two leading Democrats aren't perfectly interchangeable.
From an utterly bizarre paper on mitochondria -- reportedly containing blatant plagiarism -- that looks like something edited by a Saudi cleric " ... the points that show proteomics overlapping between different forms of life are more likely to be interpreted as a reflection of a single common fingerprint initiated by a mighty creator ..." As opposed to the garden variety, un-mighty creator of the universe?

Last State of the Union
Thank God we won't have to listen to this guy's B.S. anymore after tonight. It's not like he really speaks to anyone anyway. I think the US is ready to just blow him off. This guy has fucked up everything!
